We're on the ground in Managua, with all team members & bags present & accounted for--Praise God! That's no minor miracle with our numbers. We were greeted by GHO veteran Ron Brown and Rolondo Castillo (our GHO director while in Nicaragua), cleared customs without a hitch, and are checked in at the Best Western. We've been fed and are tucking in for the night, as tomorrow will begin our in country travel to our clinic site. We have air conditioning here, but some of our rooms are currently without power. Again, while not uncommon in this part of the world, just one more way Satan is trying to distract us from the mission at hand.
While our first timers are still apprehensive, excitement is beginning to outweigh nerves. Prayers for tonight are for a restful sleep, a positive & productive start to our journey tomorrow, and praises for the safe arrival of us and our supplies. We feel your prayers, and we appreciate the continued support. Good night & God Bless. . . .
