24 of our 25 are safely together in Houston, with 1 more to join us before take off (our remaining 2 team members will meet us in Managua). We've already witnessed a few small miracles (avoiding overweight bag fees, for one!), and Satan's tried a few tricks, too (frustrated airline staff, tedious airport processes & illness among others). Still, all in all, we're in good spirits, all "plugged in" with our Iphones, Ipods, and cellphones. The team already seems to be meshing, coming together to form the unique team God has brought together for the tasks that lie ahead. . . .
We ask again for specific prayer coverage for safety in travel, avoidance of illness (we have a few who are subject to motion sickness), and a fruitful and productive trip. We ask that you also pray specifically for our Nicaraguan brothers & sisters who are already in place awaiting our arrival.
We are grateful for the continued support, and your prayers are as important to our mission as any items in our luggage. We'll update again from Nicaraguan soil. Thanks, and God Bless!
